I would have been perfectly happy to see Homeland end with last year’s season finale. It was a great point to wrap it all up in a bow. For that reason, I’m a little skeptical about the new season, but the trailers definitely have me intrigued.
The new season, which is returning on October 5th with back to back episodes, picks up right after the events of last season, but still manages to feel like a reboot. Along with Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin, the new season will also feature Rupert Friend, Corey Stoll, and Suraj Sharma.
