No, there isn’t going to be a sequel to Gone in 60 Seconds. Do you really think that Angelina Jolie would go for that? What we’re talking about is the newly announced 3D action revenge driving movie called “Drive Angry.”

According to THR, Cage has just signed on to the film that will be directed by Patrick Lussier

Written by Lussier and Todd Farmer, the story centers on a man (Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway.

While this is the first time that we’ll be blessed with the face of Cage jumping at us through the screen, this is not the first 3D ride for Lussier, who made “My Bloody Valentine 3D” earlier this year.

the name of the film seems to be straight forward enough, but most of us here can only think of one thing when we here it:

Don’t drive angry, don’t drive angry…
