One of the most talked about films from Sundance this year was a small picture about love by real life couple Charlyne Yi and Michael Cera. The hybrid documentary/ comedy follows Yi as she travels across the country making a documentary about love. During her travels she falls for Cera… Hijynx ensue.

Overture Films picked up the film and will be the main distributor for it. It opens Aug. 7 in New York and L.A. before expanding Aug. 14.

While the couple star together in the movie, it is Yi who is the powerhouse behind it. She co-wrote and executive produced the film. Cera and Yi teamed up to compose the score for the film.
