Great news for fans in need of a seriously Excellent Adventure! While out promoting his new Frank Zappa documentary, “Who the F*@% is Frank Zappa?” Alex Winter has told reporters that they are getting close to setting a date for the long awaited Bill & Ted 3!

Winters, who played Bill S. Preston, one half of the Wyld Stallyns in the first two films along side Keanu Reeves, told the reporters from Forbes:

“We’ve been working on it for, like six years. We’re knee-deep in the script, it’s been written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who wrote the first two, they are fantastic writers, and the script is great. We have a script, we have a director, we have a studio – we’re just trying to nail down a start date.”

The goal is to get the film moving later this year or possibly during the first part of 2017. However, when asked the world’s dumbest question about whether or not Keanu Reeves would be involved in the movie, Winters had this to say:

“How the [fuck] would we make it if he wasn’t on board?” Winter joked. “People always ask if Keanu’s doing it and I’m like, ‘No, I’m making a Bill movie.’ Of course, he’s in it. I can’t make a Bill & Ted movie without Keanu.”

EXCELLENT!
