Yesterday, we reported that the upcoming Swamp Thing series from DC’s streaming Universe would be portrayed by a physical costume and not via mocap. Today, it looks like we now know who will be in the suit. When we see the Len Wiesman directed pilot for the series, it looks like it will be Derek Mears’s looking out from behind the green.
While you might not know the name, Mears is best known for his portrayal of Jason Vorhees in the Friday the 13th reboot.
While there’s no hint on who will be playing Alec Holland, we do know that Crystal Reed has been cast as Abigail Arcane and Maria Sten has been cast as Liz Tremayne.
