Russel Crowe has had some great roles thrust upon him lately. Not only is he playing Jor-El, the father of Superman in Zak Snyder’s Superman: Man Of Steel, but he’s also set to play the role of Javert in the upcoming musical version of Les Miserables alongside Hugh Jackman.

Now we’ve got word from a very reliable reporter over at variety that the rugby playing, rock and roller is up for not one, but two major roles. I don’t know if I’d call it a Reboot, but He’s up for the role of Noah in the adaptation of the graphic novel version of the story of Noah and the Flood from The Bible… and Darren Aronofsky.

That isn’t even the big news. The new rumor is that he’s also up for the role of Alex Murphy, AKA Robocop in the new reboot of that franchise from Jose Padihla
