ABC is looking into what it would take to bring “Scrubs” back for a ninth season with some or all of the original cast members coming back full or part-time.
For a year now, the show creators have been talking about keeping the show going in some capacity at the end of this season, but they also knew that Zach Braff was not really interested in doing any more episodes. That is one of the reasons the show has begun to focus more on the new interns in some of the episodes… Its like Saved By the Bell, The New Class, but in a hospital.
The real challenge will be that several of the show’s cast members are already doing pilots for new shows next season.
