While it doesn’t feature the excellent footage of the Luke Cage teaser, the combination of name dropping, music, and familiar voices made the Defenders teaser more than worth the price of admission. The music? Nirvana’s Come as You Are. The voice? I do believe that was none other than Stick.
The way they bring the graphics together in the logo gives you the feeling of how much time has gone into building this team. It is not dissimilar from the way the MCU put the Avengers together, though this works even better because we had whole seasons of story telling for each character, not just a movie or two for each.
Marvel’s The Defenders will unite Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, as they face their biggest threat yet.
