The first big Comic-Con trailer has been released and we now have our first look at the DC Streaming Titans team in action. If you thought Warner Bros was going to back away from the darkness after BvS and Justice League, you can either relax or cringe. The darkness seems to have all settled into their new Titans series. Billed as TV-MA, the first trailer gives a gritty look at the Titans team, complete with a Robin who is clearly in the midst of dealing with some bat-daddy issues.

Check it out for yourself and see what you think. Then ask yourself if you are willing to pay $79 a year to watch it. That’s the newly released price for the DC Streaming service for which you can now sign-up. Now, you are going to get more than just Titans. You’ll also get the new Young Justice: Outsiders series (hoping we get a trailer for that today), tons of other DC streaming content, and even exclusive access to buying a lot of DC branded toys and collectibles.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
