If you haven’t seen Snowpiercer starring Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, John Hurt, Kang-Ho Soon, and Octavia Spencer, you are missing out on an excellent film. The movie was so good that it spawned an idea for a TV series that has been floating around for a couple of years at this point. Well, it looks like the series has finally found a home.

USA Network announced today that they’ll be broadcasting the TV series adaptation of Snowpiercer and they have so much faith in it that they are already greenlighting season two. That’s pretty bold when you consider that season one isn’t even set to air until 2020.

The pilot episode for the new series was written by Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and directed by Scott Derrickson. The series is set to star Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, Jaylin Fletcher, and Rowan Blanchard.
