The Silver Sable/ Black Cat film that most fans still aren’t sure they need has been pulled from Sony’s release line-up today. The film was initially slated for a February 2019 release date, but today it has been shifted to unlisted as problems with the script have necessitated the studio to pretty much start from scratch… if they continue at all.
There is a chance that the most recent script from. Captain Marvel writer Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Chaos Walking writer Lindsey Beer isn’t even the problem. Many industry insiders are suggesting that Sony is in wait and see mode when it comes to Spider-Man free Spiderverse films. Basically, we won’t know if this film is going to happen until we see the box office numbers on Venom this fall.
