When the animated series, The Clone Wars was cancelled, there were several great stories in the pipeline. Now, Lucasfilm is bringing them to fans through the Clone Wars Legacy. This multi media approach has already launched with this year’s Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir comic series from Dark Horse and the upcoming novel from Del Rey books that will focus on a story starring Asajj Ventress and Quinlan Vos.

“Star Wars: The Clone Wars Legacy” is going to give fans a new look at the material that was left unfinished. There’s tons of behind the scenes info and completed story reels (rough animation) for a three episode story arc entitled “Crystal Crisis on Utapau.” That is the storyline where we were going to see the emotional fallout for Anakin after Ashoka left the Jedi Order. There’s also concept art for what would have been the Son of Dathomir, Crystal Crisis on Utapau, and the new novel with Ventress and Vos, entitled “Dark Disciple.”
