Two things pretty much ruined Will Smith’s post apocalypse zombie/vampire film “I Am Legend.” The ending and the atrocious CGI that ended up being more horrifying than the monsters themselves.
Today, SFX artist Steve Johnson releases the make-up Fx test footage for “I am Legend,” which not surprisingly blows away finalized CGI from the movie. The question now remains, why go through all the trouble creating a prosthetic mask only to replace it with CGI done by slave children from third world countires? This is what could have been, folks.
