There is some debate here at Bentwookie over who should have won the award for Best Actor at the Oscars Sunday night. Some people think that Sean Penn deserved it. Personally, I think that Mickey Rourke was robbed. The Wrestler was a fantastic film and no matter what you might think of the man, his performance was fan freaking tastic.
The good news is that while he missed out on the Oscar, he did win a Bafta and an Independent Spirit Award. His acceptance speech for the latter will go down as one of the most memorable of all time.
