Disney has released the first trailer for the adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ classic sci-fi novels “John Carter” (of Mars). Directed by Andrew Stanton “John Carter” might be one of the most impressive trailers I’ve seen so far.
Staring Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights), the movie is pure science fiction perfection with some jaw dropping visual not seen since “Tron: Legacy.” Only time will tell whether it holds up to the stories by Burroughs, but damn it if it isn’t a great start!
The film also Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church, and Willem Dafoe.
