Alex Aja’s “Piranha 3D” is set to hit theaters very soon and what was once a joke of a film is slowly turning some heads. Dimension has released the official movie poster and it’s quite terrifying. I don’t know if I’m looking at a fish or a dinosaur. Really. I’ve seen piranhas before and none of them have ever looked this this!
“Piranha 3D” is obviously a film that will be exclusively 3D. That means it won’t be crap like the 3D in “Toy Story 3.” The film stars Elisabeth Shue, Adam Scott, Ving Rhames, Richard Dreyfus and will find its way into theaters on August 20th.
Will it be the next “Jaws?” Probably not, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it ends up being a ton of 3D fun!
