Thomas Middleditch who is best known for his online sketches on College Humor, has been cast as Jeb Schrute, brother of Rainn Wilson’s character in NBC’s “The Farm,” an upcoming “The Office” spinoff.
According to THE, Jeb is described as a “happy-go-lucky guy,” who is running a Northern Calif. pot farm after having traveled several career paths in the past – including working as a worm farmer and a Bigfoot hunter.
Middleditch will join Majandra Delfino who was recently cast as Dwight’s sister, Fannie, a pseudo-intellectual, left-leaning younger sister.
Delfino, who’s best known for her roles on “Roswell,” and “Quarterlife.”
“The Farm” is being penned by former “The Office” showrunner Paul Lieberstein and will be introduced during an episode of the long-running NBC comedy during its final season.
