Fox’ “MAD TV” may be a thing of the pass, but let’s be honest, it was nothing like the MAD magazines we grew up reading (and believe me, I READ A LOT). Thanks to the Cartoon Network, we’ll now be getting a brand new “MAD” animated series! CN just released a new trailer for the show in anticipation of its September 6th premiere, and from the looks of it, it’s classic MAD all the way.
From the looks of it, it’s a pop culture variety fest (think “Robot Chicken”) and probably just as silly with some classic MAD specific characters such as the Spy Vs. Spy. Not too sure about the production value, but if if you were ever a fan of MAD it’s probably worth checking out.
