Warren Beatty is a name that most people in their 20’s don’t even know. If you grew up in the late 80’s, he’s Dick Tracy and the guy in Madonna’s sex documentary. For people with a few more rings on their trunk, the man has Hollywood legend status. His roles in films like Bonny and Clyde, Heaven Can Wait, Reds, Shampoo, and even his more recent films like Bugsy and Bullworth, combined with his two Oscars and additional twelve nominations, have landed him a solid place in entertainment history. Just a little while ago, he released the first trailer for his first film in nearly two decades, “Rules Don’t Apply.”

The film, which tells the tale of a love triangle between Howard Hughes, his Methodist driver, and a Southern Baptist starlet, looks interesting if not a little bit confusing. One thing it does having going for it is a stellar cast. Along with Beatty as Hughes, the film also stars Lily Collins, Alden Ehrenreich, Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening, Haley Bennett, Candice Bergen, Matthew Broderick, Dabney Coleman, Steve Coogan, Taissa Farmiga, Ed Harris, Megan Hilty, Oliver Platt, and Martin Sheen.

Rules Don’t Apply hits theaters November 23rd.
