I was more than a little surprised at how much the first Jack Reacher film sucked. A lot of people were against the idea of Cruise taking on the role, if for no other reason than he’s almost a foot shorter than the character in the books, but it was a fun movie. I can’t be the only one who thought so, or there wouldn’t be a sequel coming out this year.
Joining him this time around are Cobie Smulders (How I met Your Mother/ The MCU) Aldis Hodge, Holt McCallany, and Robert Knepper.
I’ll miss Werner Herzog, but I guess they couldn’t really bring him back to life for this one.
Jack Reacher: Never Go Back opens in theaters on October 21st. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, it’s on TV a lot right now and it’s a great way to kill a rainy afternoon.
