Adam Horowitz and Adam Kitsis wrote “Tron Legacy” for Disney and it was pretty much assumed that they would be the ones that would write the next and final chapter in the Tron saga. Well, you know what they say happens when you assume…

Horowitz and Kitsis are out in favor of new writer Dan DiGilio after bowing out to work on their new ABC series, “Once Upon a Time.”

DiGilio is no stranger to sci-fi. He has recently sold a post-apocalyptic sci-fi series to Showtime, which you will be able to read about here when once we have more information.

Meanwhile, it is also not clear if Joseph Kosinski will be returning as director. Not having him would be a pretty epic mistake. He defined the aesthetic of the last film.
