Tron Will Be The Most Expensive Movie Of All Time

the Vancouver Sun is spilling some very expensive beans about Disney’s long awaited Tron sequel.

Vancouver post-production units are salivating at the prospects presented by the Disney remake of Tron, which carries a whopping $300 million budget and opportunities aplenty for effects and digital polish. The 1982 version of the film starring Jeff Bridges blazed new trails in computer graphics and you can bet Tron 2.0 will push much further down the pixel path.

Holy Crap! 300 million dollars? Are the light cycles real? That’s 100 million more than Cameron is spending on his Avatar movie and that thing is supposed to change the way movies are made.

For that much money, I hope this movie is good.
