THR is reporting that NBC is partnering up with DC’s Vertigo imprint to add a little more supernatural Shenanigan to their Prime Time Line up. Who knows what will get cut to make this happen, but NBC already lost 5 hours a week of prime time to the new Jay Leno Show. NBC has picked up a live-action drama adaptation of the comic book series from DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint.

“Midnight,” which has received a script commitment with penalty from the network, revolves around Adam and Julia Kadmons, a sophisticated, sexy, globe-trotting husband-and-wife team who solve mysteries and crimes of the supernatural.

John Rozum’s “Midnight, Mass.” has been among the most heavily pursued of DC Comics’ properties for a TV series adaptation by sister company WBTV.

Apparently several companies have tried to make the book into a TV series, but this is the first time its actually made it this far and been picked up by anyone.

  1. Howdy! Do You know if this adaptation is still underway? I think this is a very decent comic, and it might make for an interesting show (depending on the production, of course). If anyone cares to see a review of the original ”
Midnight, Mass” comic… check this out!
