The new Super 8 Trailer just hit and it has a lot of new footage in it. I know everyone is in love with this movie just based on the clips and the power partnership of JJ Abrams and Steven Spielberg. Personally, I’m still not sure about it. It still feels like a movie that isn’t sure what it wants to be. That said, this new trailer is finally giving me enough of more than just the kids for me to begin to get a little more excited about it as a good summer popcorn flick.

In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.
