While geeks and “Mad Men” fans everywhere are getting more excited about some of the recent news regarding Zack Snyder’s “Superman” reboot, this geek is getting sadder by the day. If you haven’t heard, it was recently revealed that Snyder may be doing an older Superman film in the age range of 35 to 40. This also happens to coincide with the rumor that AMC “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm may be up for the role of the Man of Steel. Because Hamm has worked with Snyder in his upcoming action film “Sucker Punch,” it makes it all that much more possible that Hamm would star in Snyder’s Superman film. While I love Hamm as Don, I just can’t see him as Superman, and this photoshop mock up that’s been making waves lately further justifies that IMO.
