After a string of blockbusters like Wolverine and the new release, The Proposal, Ryan Reynolds has been looking for a movie where he can really show off what he has to offer as an actor. Well, according to variety, he’s found the part he’s looking for and its in an indie flick called “Buried”.
Reynolds will star in “Buried,” playing a civilian contractor who’s kidnapped in Iraq and awakens buried in a coffin in the desert, armed only with a cell phone, a candle and a knife.
according to the article, He decided to take the role so he could stretch his acting chops in a movie with a claustrophobic premise. As an added bonus, he’ll have complete control of the screen for most of the movie.
