Despite the collective cringe of comic book movie fans, things are steam rolling forward with the development of “Hancock 2.” MTV reports that both actors Will Smith and Charlize Theron will be returning to the sequel as immortal gods/superheroes.
“Everybody’s going to come back for a sequel,” director Peter Berg told MTV.
Not much is known about the plot to the sequel, but there are rumors of a third immortal god being involved.
“We have [someone in mind],” Berg said. “I’m not gonna tell you who, but we have!”
At the rate of production, chances are we will know who’ll play the third immortal god within a few weeks.
