This is one part potential spoiler and one part common sense, so if you are worried about going in cold for the Star Wars Han Solo film, now is a good time to stop reading. However, if you want to know what we know, go ahead and scroll down.

OK, so as many Star Wars fans already Know, Spencer Wilding has taken over the role of Darth Vader in the Star Wars Universe. He first donned the helmet and red lightsaber in the epic finale of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Now, it looks like he will be reprising his role in the upcoming Han Solo film that is being finished up right now by Darth Vader.

So, what is leading us to this conclusion? Well, aside from the fact that there’s been so much drama over the Han Solo film that it would make sense for producers to assume throwing Vader at it will be a big enough fan service to shut fans up, we also know that Wilding just pulled out of a fan convention in Kentucky. Here’s the statement from the convention:

Spencer Wilding will be unable to attend as he will be filming the newest film in the Star Wars Universe. Spencer will be coming back next year.

In simple terms, there’s only one Star Wars movie that is actively filming right now. So, unless he’s playing a whole other character, it looks like the Sith Lord in question might be going up against Han and Chewie.
