Deadline Hollywood is reporting that the deal for Darren Aronofsky to direct Wolverine 2 is so close to being complete that they are now negotiating filming locations in NYC so that both Aronofsky and Hugh Jackman can spend less time away from their families while filming the non-Japan portion of the film.

With the movie pretty much locked down, Pride Prejudice and Zombies has been the next big project that everyone wants a bite of. Now that Bradley Cooper and Scarlet Johansson are allegedly attached to it, it really just comes down to directors.

The front runners are:
Mike Newell (Prince of Persia)
Neil Marshall (Doomsday)
David Slade (Twilight: Eclipse)
