Metal Earth Models (Star Wars, Marvel, Transformers, and more)

Chances are, you’ve seen Metal Earth Model kits. They have them all over the place as well as online and they are some of the coolest looking metal kits on the market. They are great if you have someone crafty in your life and you are looking for the perfect stocking stuffer. we are not going to lie. These model kits range from slightly challenging to very challenging, but the results are spectacular. We’d really recommend these model kits for anyone from 10 through adult. You can expect that the simplest kits (The Washington Monument) will take around a half hour to put together. The harder kits (Optimus Prime) can take at least a few hours to complete.

One thing we’d definitely recommend is that you also pick up a Fascinations Metal Earth Tool Kit. This little kit of three metal cutting and bending tools will save your fingers… as well as your sanity.

If you’ve got a friend who likes retro gaming as much as they love to drink, this might just be the perfect gift for them this year. Wonderforge Star Wars Board Game Assortment

While most of the world is talking about Disney Infinity and Battlefront when it comes to Star Wars games this holiday season, we are talking about Wonder Forge. They’ve brought all the fun of family game night to the Star Wars franchise and created a line of games are a hell of a lot of fun. Some of our favorites include Galaxy Hunt, which tests your dexterity and luck while you remove pieces from the board, ever fearful of launching a First Order assault that wipes the game clean, and Force grab, which will keep the whole family laughing, while also testing your memory and how fast you can grab the game pieces.

Ototo Teasub Tea Infuser

Making a cup of tea has gotten a lot more fun in the last couple of years thanks to companies like Ototo. Their Teasub is a simple to use silicone tea infuser that we tested out. It was not only easy to fill, but it didn’t leak. This is equally important in a tea infuser as it is in a submarine. If you know someone who drinks tea, this is going to be one of those must have stocking stuffers that they’ll still be using when you come back for next Christmas.

Geddes Farms Blazing Hot 100% Natural Ghost Pepper Honey

Wow, we have to admit that we didn’t think we’d like this when it came in for review. That’s actually what makes it an even better gift. This honey is delicious. It is hot as the fires of hell, but in the best, tastiest possible way. Grab a jar of this for the spice lover in your life, but also grab one for yourself. We especially recommend using this honey for making spicy glazed carrots or some of the best best honey hot wings you’ve ever had.

Lego Storage / Lunch Box

We don’t look at this as a gift you give on your own, but this is awesome permanent packaging that you can use to gift some small lego sets, chocolate or anything else this holiday. When you are done with it, you can then keep the Lego box for small storage, a little treasure box, or even take it to school as a lunch box!

Brain Specimen Coasters

These are the smartest coasters we’ve ever seen… and yes, we mean that in the punniest way possible. There’s not really much to say about these coasters. They are coasters. They have one job: keep your counters and tables from getting drink rings… and they work great. However, that’s not why we love them. We love them because each one has a different cross section of the human brain on it. When you have them stacked, it’s like a pile of the world’s coolest microscope slides. When you you use just one, it’s gross, in the best possible way!

With table accoutrements this nice, maybe they’ll stop wiping their mouth on the dirty pair of shorts they left on the floor.

The Bit Wallet by Pixelle

Everyone’s already got their geeky t-shirts, but most people are walking around with plain, boring wallets. Enter Pixelle, the extremely roomy wallet adorned with 8-bit characters ranging from swords and robots to beakers and Pi symbols. It’s the wallet you’d want to be carrying around with you if you lived in Hirule. We really liked that this wallet works for both men and women, and that it has more room than most wallets out there. Along with a coin pouch and a bill pocket, there’s another four card slots with another pocket behind them. It be hard to squeeze into the back pocket of your skinny jeans, but why would you want to hide a wallet this cool in your pants?

Tovolo Gingerbread Ice Cube Tray

There’s not really much to describe here. We just thought that these seasonal ice trays were freakin cute and they are the perfect thing to stuff in someone’s stocking, or a great addition to a host basket for the kind person who is cooking your holiday dinner. If that kind person is you, just treat yourself!

Tovolo Winter Wonderland Cookie Cutter and Stamp

This is another one of those items that goes great in a stocking or a host gift basket. We loved the compact nature of these cookie cutters. Basically, all of the stamps (there are six different Christmas style designs), all fit snugly inside the actual cookie cutter. It makes it extremely easy to knock out consistant Christmas cookies with a bunch of different great designs.

Tovolo Skull Ice Molds

Let’s face it, holiday themed ice cubes and cookies are cool, but you aren’t going to use them all year round. Skulls however, never go out of season. The reason we picked the Tovolo Ice Cube Skull mold is because it was one of the best ones out there. A lot of the skull molds end up with ugly seams on the ice cube. This is not only unsightly, but it makes the cube melt faster (in our opinion). More importantly, these aren’t just skulls, they are pirate skulls!

Dragon Cake Pan

Bundt cakes, are awesome, especially around the holidays. Now, if you’ve got a baker in your life who loves Game of Thrones or Dungeons and Dragons, Thinkgeek’s Dragon Cake Pan is perfect. The detail that you get on the actual cake is pretty spectacular. We made a Guinness and Gingerbread cake in it and everyone was pretty much shocked at how cool it looked.

Celebriducks

There are a few things out there that are timeless and ageless. They’ll be just as great a gift for a kid as they are for a grown up with a good sense of humor. That’s why we wanted to point out some of the Celebriducks to you. They are cute rubber duckies that are very reminiscent of some of your favorite TV shows, movies, and celebrities. Some of our favorites included The Quacking Dead, Mister Squawk, Breaking Bath, and Spa Wars (He looks like Yoda and he glows in the dark). They are all fully functional and will look awesome sticking out of someone’s stocking this Christmas. Check out even more on their website.

Chili Herb Infuser

This is another great stocking stuffer or host gift for the holidays. Herbs can add a ton of flavor to a pot of food, but keeping all the stems and leaves out of the finished product can be a pain in the butt. The Chili Herb infuser works sort of like a tea infuser, but it is 3-4x larger. This gives you the chance to pack it with herbs and then just pull the whole thing out at the end, without any of the hassle.

Sugar House Sugar Bowl

The Sugar House Sugar bowl is one of the cutest sugar bowls we’ve ever seen. It actually looks like a little snow globe with a snow covered cottage inside. To get at the sugar, you just turn it over and pop off the bottom. We thought this would be a great host gift or stocking stuffer for someone in your life that loves to be surrounded by cuteness when they are having their cup of tea or coffee.
