Star Wars™: A New Hope™ A Duel to the Death Sound Ornament

Every Christmas, Hallmark releases a few ornaments that might not be what you’d expect to find on a Christmas Tree, but are that much more special to the fans who love the movies to which they pay tribute. If I had to pick one ornament that fits the bill this year, it would be the Duel to The Death ornament from Star Wars: A New Hope. Say what you will, as far as I’m concerned, nothing says Merry Christmas more than Luke Skywalker screaming “NO!” after watching Darth Vader Strike down his friend and mentor, Obi Wan Kenobi?

Harry Potter™ Gringotts Wizarding Bank Ornament

Despite the fact that the boy who lived is nowhere to be found on this ornament, this could very well be my favorite Harry Potter Hallmark ornament that’s ever been designed. It’s just beautiful sculpt work from the bricks on the wall to the dragon on the roof. I’m also a really big fan of the light-root feature they’ve put into this ornament. Their Hogwart’s ornament from a couple years ago actually had the same feature. Instead of needing batteries, you can actually plug a light from your tree’s light string right into the ornament’s back and it lights up the entire interior. It’s spectacular!

Disney Beauty and the Beast Tale as Old as Time Ornament With Light and Music

If you need to find a great host gift for a couple in your life that you know loves Disney, this might be the perfect thing. If you haven’t collected the previous Star Wars Peekbuster ornaments from Hallmark, then stop reading right now and head over to ebay and grab them. They are probably the most fun Star Wars ornaments that Hallmark has ever created. Just like previous versions, the Stormtrooper Peekbuster watches over the presents, waiting for sneaky peekers trying to guess their gifts. Hallmark Star Wars™ Storytellers Ornaments Set

Hallmark has always excelled at highly detailed ornaments, but their Star Wars Storytellers ornaments might be the most beautiful ornaments that the company has ever churned out. This year, three ornaments have been released: The Death Star, Vader’s Tie Fighter, and The X-Wing. They all feature a level of detail that has never been previously achieved in Hallmark ornaments and they all feature great lighting and sound effects.

If you do get one or all of these ornaments, you need to make sure you snag a power cord while you are at it. Hallmark made a special cord for this set that has seven spots on it. Along with this year’s three ornaments, they will also be releasing two next year and two the year after that. It would be a shame to have such beautiful decorations for your tree and no way to make them all light up!

Star Wars: The Last Jedi™ Rey™ Ornament

If you love Star Wars, than you probably already have your tickets to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi. So, if you don’t have at least one item on the tree that represents Episode XIII, you may just find an angry porg in your stocking. Hallmark actually has a few different ornaments from the film this year (we still don’t know what the one getting released in December is), but Rey is definitely the favorite for the ones that have been released. She’s got a well-crafted, dynamic sculpt that shows a lot more emotion than you’d expect to find in the average ornament. She’s one Christmas bad-ass that you do not want to mess with!
