The Silver Sable/ Black Cat movie, Silver and Black’s future may be in Jeopardy, Sony is moving forward with multiple projects based on the characters of the Spider-Man universe. Today, news broke that the studio had hired Equalizer 2 screenwriter Richard Wenk to pen the script for a solo film based on the Spider-man villain, Kraven the Hunter.
There is currently no news on whether or not this film will include Spider-Man or whether it will be more in line with the webhead-less Venom film that is set to hit theaters later this year with Tom Hardy. Perhaps Kraven could come to New York with Venom as his intended prey. It will probably be at least 6 months to a year before we get any more details. Until then, we just have to hope that this new project doesn’t turn into a “turd in the wind.”
