Now you too can drink like your favorite family. Ommegang Brewery has been given the rights to produce beer based off HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones.”
“The collaboration between Ommegang and HBO is focused on developing unique beers that directly tie into themes, characters and nuances of the medieval-like fantasy realm of Westeros and the surrounding kingdoms, where the competition to sit on the Iron Throne is fierce and deadly.”
Ommegang Brewery will be creating four “Game of Thrones” beers, with the first, “Iron Throne Blonde Ale” coinciding with the Season 3 premiere in March.
The second as-yet-unnamed beer is said to arrive during the fall of 2013, with the remaining two scheduled for later seasons.
