Take a peak at McFarlane’s newest NFL series 22 football action figures. This series will be heading to stores this December featuring new never been made before rookie figures. Personally, I think some of the inclusions are rather surprising but it’s a well rounded assortment nonetheless. A lot of reused sculpts but they work fairly well especially Matt Ryan and Adrian Peterson, although I’d much rather have him running upright.

NFL Series 22 will include five figures:

MATT FORTÉ – Chicago Bears
The Bears rookie running back burst onto the scene starting all 16 games and breaking the franchise record for rushing yards by a rookie (1238 yards) and receptions by a rookie (63 catches).

MATT RYAN – Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons quarterback was named the AP NFL Offensive Rookie of the year by completing 265 of 434 passes for 3340 yards and 16 touchdowns. He became the first rookie quarterback to start all 16 games and lead his team to the playoffs.

ADRIAN PETERSON 2 – Minnesota Vikings
2008 was a banner year for the second-year Vikings running back, as he led the NFL in rushing and set a new Vikings single-season record with 1760 rushing yards.

MATT CASSEL – Kansas City Chiefs
This former New England Patriot stepped in for quarterback Tom Brady after he was injured in the first game of the 2008 season. He guided the Patriots to a 10-5 record, throwing for 3,946 yards and 23 touchdowns. The polished 5th year signal caller was traded in the off-season and will be presented in his new Kansas City Chiefs uniform.

TOM BRADY 3 – New England Patriots
This NFL legend returns from a season long injury to quarterback the Patriots in 2009. Holder of numerous regular and postseason records, Brady enters 2009 with a record of 101-27, which is the best record of any NFL quarterback in the Super Bowl era with at least 100 starts.

A change is also coming with McFarlane’s upcoming SportsPicks lines. This exciting new program will be introduced with NFL 22. More will be revealed at a later time.

College Football and NFL Legends action figures are now stores.
