McFarlane Toys: Prince Of Persia Figures Revealed

Back in August we reported that McFarlane Toys and Disney were teaming up to bring life to Disney’s upcoming “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” movie. Thanks to TNI via online e-tailer ToyWiz, we now have our first look and details at some of the action figures that’ll be coming our way.

There will be both a 4″ and 6″ assortments of action figures. Figures with feature multiple points of articulation and character specific accessories.

The 4″ assortment will consist of five figures. All figures will fit with the horse boxed set and play play sets which will be sold separately:

- Desert Dastan
- Warrior Dastan (Not Shown)
- Zolm [Lead Hassansin]
- Ghazab [Double Bladed Halberd Hassansin] (Not Shown)
- Setam [Human Porcupine Hassansin]

Playsets and and boxed sets for the 4″ figures will consist of:

- Horse Boxed Set Dastan with Aksh
- Horse Boxed Set Zolm with Akvan
- Movie Playset Alamut Gate

6″ figures will also feature spring-loaded play action highlighting their unique weapons and accessories from the feature film. This assortment will include the following figures:

- Warrior Dastan
- Desert Dastan
- Zolm [Lead Hassansin]
- Ghazab [Double Bladed Halberd Hassansin]

I’ll probably end up owning them all. Whenever I see a movie I feel tempted in playing the game and getting the figures. The color scheme looks pretty good to fit in with the characters from a movie called Sands of Time and I look forward they get this rolling. They are certainly better than I anticipated. Can’t wait to see the horses.
