A few weeks we wrote about statue/collectible company Syco Collectibles inquiring its fanbase as to whether there was an interest and demand for Mortal Kombat action figures. The results were fairly overwhelming as more than 300 Mortal Kombat fans chimed in on their Facebook page. When asked about what we could expect from them action figures wise, they had this to say:
With the Action Figures, if we ever do them; They would be matching/exceeding in quality similar to how NECA do theirs. They will not be cheaply made, poorly painted, lacking in accessories or featuring excessive articulation which impairs the overall look. They would be articulated enough however, but we wouldn’t be talking 30+ points of articulation…
This is great news for MK fans as there hasn’t been a definitive MK line that’s stood out. Jazware may be producing MK figures currently, but they’re rather disappointing and no where near the high quality figures fans have desperately wanted for over a decade. If you want to see some highly detailed NECA style MK figures, your best bet is with Syco Collectibles. So let them here it!
