The rumors were true after all! Tonight after the second showing of the amazing “Thor” trailer, Marvel officially announced the full cast of “The Avengers.”

Marvel Studios will begin principal photography for the Kenneth Branagh-directed Thor in mid-January.

25-year-old actress Jaimie Alexander who is best known for her work on the TV show “Kyle XY” has recently been cast to play the Norse Goddess, Sif.

In her tweet she mentioned her character as “pretty but sturdy with muscle.”
