Many people are stating to get excited about the live action GI Joe Movie, but true Joe fans seem even more excited about the new direct to video cartoon, GI Joe: Resolute.

Officially today, Adult Swim has released the trailer for this new animated series which will premiere this coming Friday, April 17th.

While G.I Joe: Rise of Cobra doesn’t open till July 8, the mystery thus far has been how Hollywood will reimaging Cobra’s nefarious leader Cobra Commander for the big screen.

Conspicuously missing in the trailer and shown without his mask, we can now all finally stop and take a sigh of relief.
