Disney’s Oz The Great And Powerful has been tearing up the box office like a tornado through Kansas. You won’t be able to see the movie at home for a while, but at least Disney has now released the opening online.

I still have some misgivings about the amount of cgi in the film, but I’m starting to warm up to it and will probably see it when it is released on March 8, 2013.

I’m still not sure if I like the full CGI style of the film they are doing that is similar to Alice In Wonderland, but this is a beautiful piece of artwork.

Remember when movies had actual practical sets and not George Lucas style Green Screen abysses? Ya, me too…

We’ve been hearing a lot about Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby and now we finally have the trailer.

Here’s your first look at what appears to be the flying monkeys from Sam Raimi’s upcoming “OZ, The Great and Powerful,” a prequel to the “The Wizard Of Oz.”

I for one am really looking forward to what looks like Scorsese’s first real attempt at a horror movie.
