President of Production for Marvel Studios, confirmed that the Hulk will be in Marvel’s first ever crossover film, “The Avengers.”

Russo will now join a pretty stellar cast consisting of Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Kat Dennings (Darcy) and Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) in Kenneth Branaugh’s action-adventure epic.

Although filming for Marvel’s upcoming “Thor” doesn’t start until next year, Stan Lee is already speaking to Kenneth Branagh about his cameo appearance.

It’s uncertain what role Dennings will be playing in this epic, however, but rumors have been buzzing that she will show up as an assistant to Portman’s character, Jane Foster.

Marvel Studios will begin principal photography for the Kenneth Branagh-directed Thor in mid-January.
