Fairy tale adaptations seem to be all the rage this year, but what most people who don’t read comic books don’t know is that the trend originally started with Vertigo’s and Bill Willingham’s “Fables.”

If he does take the job, he’ll be taking over for the vacated spot left by Sam Mendes.

Chef and Travel Channel star Anthony Bourdain recently revealed an interview that he is writing a story titled, “Get Gyro.” The story is described as a graphic novel about “ultra-violent food nerds”.

Fans of Neil Gaiman’s “Sandman” series can rejoice. After years of development hell for the film adaptation and a failed HBO series, Warner Bros. is looking to actively bring “Sandman” to television.

“Yeah, I can, there was one or two that I heard of that sounded really cool. One of them was about, I think… it’s a vampire and a killer, and they’re on the road, and it’s this really strange story.”

After this mind bending experience, I will never laugh at Vertigo’s abilities ever again. Think about it. As far as I know, this is the only mutant super power that we can actually experience.

NBC is partnering up with DC’s Vertigo imprint to add a little more supernatural Shenanigan to their Prime Time Line up.
