Nola, The Northern White Rhino, was living a pretty good life at the San Diego Zoo, but she has now passed away at the age of 41. Veterinarians had to euthanize her after a long battle with arthritis and a hip infection. With her passing, that leaves just three more Northern White Rhinos anywhere in the world.

The final three animals of the species are living out their days on a wildlife preserve in Kenya.
