Gritty Reboots got a lot of attention for their Pokemon Snap fan trailer a few weeks ago. Now they have a fake trailer for a film that I’d actually love to see made, Calvin and Hobbes.
As you can guess by their name, this isn’t a happy little comedy about a kid. This is the story of Calvin as an adult, struggling to control the imagination that served him so well as a child.
While growing up, Calvin’s imagination always kept him sane. He didn’t have many friends, so he created one. As he got older, he tried to leave childish things behind. But his imagination had a different plan.
This is a fan-made trailer devoted to our favorite comic strip. We are deliberately not monetizing the video in honor of Bill Watterson.
