Every since the World Cup began there’s been nothing but unnecessary coverage on the vuvuzelas. Coverage that asks whether or not they should be banned. Of course, the more coverage they get the more popular they become. They’ve gotten so popular in fact, they’ve become an Internet meme of sorts and have polluted their way into geekdom.
Yes, apparently now not even Gandalf and the folks of Middle Earth can escape the vuvuzelas. Great, just great…
