Although Pac-Man Roombas are nothing new, this is the first time that we’ve seen anyone this dedicated to such a geeky self-indulgent task.
A team of developers spent gawd knows how long hacking five Roomabs to recreate a real-life Pac-Man scenario. Awesomness aside, believe it or not this does serve a real-world purpose. It’s supported with and demonstrates the developers’ Unmanned Aerial System suite, which aids airborne vehicles. Of course, at this point in stage, all anyone cares about the coolness factor of bringing to life a classic arcade game. Real-world applications? Ehhh who cares. THEY’VE BROUGHT PAC-MAN TO LIFE!!!
