Hands down, the animatronic Halo Elite costume created by special effects artist Pete Mander is the best and most awesome cosplay ever.
The Elite stands at least 7′ tall, and would win any masquerade event hands down not to mention scare a few neighborhood pets. Here’s a brief making of video:
