We don’t spend enough time looking at some of the amazing artists that are out there. I can’t remember the last time I’ve been to an art gallery for a show that didn’t involve toys or comic books. Thankfully, there are magazines out there like Juxtapoz that do the work for us and find amazing artists like Cameron Stalheim.

Of his work, many call it extremely intense, others even call it grotesque. Cameron just says: “I am interested in fantasy, reality and the objectification that happens in between.”

One statue in particular inspired me to post his art for you all. It is called “and then I saw Colby on the Street and my fantasy died.” the statue is of a merman. A very realistic looking, dead merman. In fact, That merman looks too real. It’s kinda freaking me out.
