A 21-year-old woman who gave her name only as Xiaoging, is seeking extensive plastic surgery to look like American actress Jessica Alba in order to win back her boyfriend, who has always been a big fan of the actress.
Chinese media reports that she is doing it to win back her boyfriend after being devastated that he had broken up with her.
Xiaoging believes her 29-year-old boyfriend will take her back if she looks more like Alba because he always hinted that the wanted her to resemble her, and once even bought her a wig to play the starlet in the bedroom.
When I broke up with my boyfriend, I was very sad,” she says.
“As a member of the younger generation in this country, I have a choice to decide what I want in life.”
“I have never been able to let him go. If in the end he still does not accept me after I undergo the plastic surgeries, I will give up. I will then choose to let go, start afresh and live life by myself.”
When Jessica Alba was asked to comment about the story, she explains, “I think you should never have to change yourself like that.”
“If somebody loves you, they’ll love you no matter what.”
