Growing up as a Jewish kid, Santa didn’t really make much sense. He was supposed to be so kind and jolly, but he seemed to really dislike Jews. After all, he flew right over our houses in favor of all the Christian kids, Jewish households haven’t been passed over that much since the tenth plague (not that we’re complaining about that one…)
There are a lot of Jews who explain it all away by saying that Santa is Jewish. After all, if he was Christian, he’d have the day off.
Whatever childhood abandonment issues I may have about Santa, apparently I got off easy. Check out how he treats the Japanese!
