Spanish artist, Alex Palazzi, is this amazingly talented guy that I’m bringing to you, because he popped up on a social media feed of mine a couple of days ago. Today, I’m going to show you his Spongebob Toys and his “My Childhood” series, but you should follow him over on Behance if you can.
I have a great sadness that the Spongebob toys that he’s created aren’t things I can go out and buy. They are some of the best sculpts I’ve ever seen of the character and they might even bring more energy to him than he exudes on the screen. As for his “My Childhood images,” well, those are just cool.
In case you are wondering, while he does seem to use some CG in his art, a lot of what he’s done here is sculpted or using practical media.
